Mother

I never miss a sight of a family on a two wheeler and what I never miss is a mother sitting on the rear seat and her child between herself and her husband and what is important here is her never to be fooled grasp of her hands on her child and what I am daring to even imagine is even a single cell of her body has its complete attention on what her child is reacting to. This my friend wakes me to the whole creation of who a MOTHER is.
I know every one of us have the experience of just holding a small baby which is even less than 3 months old in your hands and I want you to just relive the moment of how delicately you will even handle that baby. Now imagine one such delicate life inside your body not as a foreign particle but a part of your body right from a small single cell to fully grown 9 moth old feotous and not to forget the process with which it comes out of the womb to the world, which I am sure cant give an explanation to that. What I see here and which is very critical is that I don’t see myself as a single individual but I am an organ of my mother’s body. When this thought just struck me and I shared this thought with my mother I just couldn’t stop my emotion and I held my mother’s hand and just thanked her for what she has made me from her. And she without any sheer pride or ego just brushed her hand on my cheek and said that’s my duty as a mother just relax. This is the humility which every human being should get present to. What struck me the very next moment was that I see hundreds and thousands of people every single day on the road and the beauty here is that every single person of the hundreds and thousands I see has been nourished in the womb of a MOTHER. Since that moment my respect and dignity for every woman I meet is equal to respecting my MOTHER. So the next time your mom asks you if you had your food or lunch just look into her eyes and feel your hunger in her.

Hey Bro:
Amen - to everything you have written! Describes, needless to say very well, the entity (for lack of better word) called mother...

if only you could write more often.....
